NCN Process
NCN’s Angel Group and Angel Funds target early-stage, Tennessee-based companies that are raising equity capital in the $500,000-$2,000,000 range. NCN works with promising companies that have the potential to attract institutional capital in follow-on rounds.
NCN helps entrepreneurs prepare for the fundraising process by introducing them to angel investors and advisors, many of whom are successful entrepreneurs themselves. These advisors provide business plan and presentation feedback, while also serving as an introduction to NCN’s group of investors.
In order to access NCN’s group of qualified angel investors, entrepreneurs are asked to take the following steps:
1. First complete a short online questionnaire to provide us with a brief overview of the company. This submission will be reviewed by NCN’s staff to determine if the company is a fit for NCN’s group of investors.
2. Qualified companies will be asked to submit a brief executive summary or business plan. NCN often provides feedback on business plans submitted for review.
3. NCN arranges for industry-appropriate angels and advisors to meet with the company, review the presentation, and provide feedback to the management team. Companies that are deemed appropriate will be introduced to potential lead angels within the NCN network.4. Once a company has a qualified lead investor, the company will present to NCN’s Angel Group and Angel Funds for investment consideration.
